This PCB (circuit board,donor board,controller board) is intended for individuals attempting data recovery/hdd repair on hard drive. If your HDD firmware, date code and site code is different. You can swap the BIOS(ROM) chip from your original PCB to this replacement PCB, to make this donor PCB compatible with your HDD.

For Hitachi 3.5" HDD, when you want to replace the boards, the replacement board must has the same Main Controller IC with your original board. For Hitachi 2.5" HDD, when you want to replace the boards, the replacement board must has the same Sticker Number (first line number of the white label) with your original board.
