This PCB (also called circuit board, logic board or controller board) can be used as a replacement board for recovering data form your hard drive. Before you buy this board, you must make sure that the hard drive failure is caused by the board, and also you must transfer the BIOS chip from your original board to this donor board to ensure the hard drive can be identified correctly by your computer.

Note: The parameters of the board (such as "PCB Sticker", "PCB Version (REV A, REV P1, REV P2)" are just for reference. They may NOT be the same as the description or pictures on this page, please don't worry, we only need to make sure the "Board Number" on the boards are the same!
Swapping the hard drive circuit boards, you should know:
- For Seagate, Western Digital, Samsung, Toshiba & Fujitsu hard drives, the Board Number must be the same.
- For Hitachi 3.5" & Maxtor hard drives, the Main Controller Chip number must be the same.
- For Hitachi 2.5" hard drives, the White Label number must be the same.
- PCB version: REV A, REV B, REV C, REV D, REV E, REV P1, REV P2 can be used as the same.
